The space agency is organizing a competition with Freelancer.com in which challenge participants to design the best SmartWatch application that can be used by astronauts on the International Space Station. The best designer will receive $ 1,500.

The application requires a timer and a way to easily show the crew schedules and agendas, it is also important to send warnings or alerts if they are in danger and, above all, should allow astronauts know when the ISS is able to communicate with the control of the Earth.

The application must be compatible with the Samsung Gear 2y is important to present their ideas with images that highlight the navigation and interaction design, if you want to participate you need to register on the site Freelancer.com, the contest has left 3 weeks and 6 days and so far has 13 registered participants.

This is not the first time that NASA works with Freelancer.com, by partnering with the site in July called for new designs of tools to be used by Robonaut 2, the humanoid robot on the ISS, it is a good strategy and will also allow developers themselves known and have more opportunities.
