Spain is one of the countries that shape the wonderful European continent. In addition, Spain also possesses domain over the Canary Isles and the Balearics and on territories of Africa. The capital of Spain is the beautiful city of Madrid.

Spain is nowadays one of few countries in the world that possesses the presence of a monarchy established centuries ago. Though the Spanish country is governed nowadays by a Prime minister, the form of official government is that of Parliamentary Monarchy since it happens also in the United Kingdom. Other one of the particular features of Spain is that it is a territory organized administratively in regions or communities Autonomous that possess each of them an identity and a distinctive and very particular set of traditions: Galicia, Andalusia, Murcia, Estremadura, Asturias, Cantabria, Basque Country, Navarre, La Rioja, Aragon, Catalonia, the Valencian Community, Castile The Spot, Madrid, Castile and León and others that stay externally of the continental territory

The history of Spain is highly rich in terms of identities. Throughout the time, this territory has been lived and conquered by an endless number of Germanic, Basque, Galician, Catalan groups and different many. It is because of it that nowadays, Spain presents not only a deep wealth in terms of languages, art, traditions and identities, if not that also must suffer important ethnic conflicts between the different populations who compose the country.
